Who we are. Buzz Money Coach is a trading style of Buzz Money Ltd, registered in England and Wales. When this policy says "we", "us" or "our", it means Buzz Money Ltd. Contact us at hello@buzzmoneycoach.com .

What data we collect

We only collect data that is necessary to deliver our services or to follow up with you after you've used one of our tools.

Financial Freedom Score (scorecard)

When you complete the Financial Freedom Score, ScoreApp (the quiz platform we use) collects your name, email address, phone number, and your answers to the 22 questions. Your overall score and area scores are calculated from your answers. We receive this information so we can send you your result and suggested next step.

Financial Healthcheck and coaching tools

If you sign up for a coaching account, we store the information you enter into the coaching tools: your income and expenditure, balance sheet, fact-find answers, goals, milestones and session notes. This data is held so your coach can review your progress and provide coaching guidance.

Account information

If you create a login, we store your name, email address and an encrypted password (or use a magic link — a one-time sign-in link sent to your email).

Technical data

Our hosting provider (Netlify) may log your IP address and browser type as part of standard server operation. We do not use Google Analytics or any advertising tracking tools.

Why we collect it and our legal basis

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not send bulk marketing emails without your agreement.

Who we share your data with

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate the platform. All are under contractual obligations to handle your data securely.

• ScoreApp — quiz platform that hosts and processes your Financial Freedom Score responses. ScoreApp privacy policy →
• Supabase — cloud database where your coaching data and account information is stored. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Processed in the EU.
• Plannr — CRM platform used by your coach to manage your client file, fact-find and task list. UK-based financial coaching CRM.
• Netlify — website hosting. May log standard access data (IP address, browser type) as part of server operation.
• Buzz Financial Services — where regulated financial advice is appropriate, we may share your contact details with Buzz Financial Services with your explicit consent at the time.

We do not share your data with anyone else without telling you first.

How long we keep your data

• Financial Freedom Score responses — held by ScoreApp per their own retention policy. We retain your score and contact details until you ask us to delete them or after 2 years of no contact.
• Coaching account data — retained for 6 years from the end of your coaching relationship. This reflects standard practice for financial services records.
• Account login information — retained while your account is active. You can request deletion at any time.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Here is what is used on this site:

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may prevent the quiz and your coaching account from working correctly.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Erasure — ask us to delete your data (subject to any legal retention requirements)
• Portability — receive your data in a portable format
• Restriction — ask us to pause processing your data in certain circumstances
• Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk · 0303 123 1113.

Security

Your coaching data is stored in Supabase with encryption at rest and in transit. Access to client data within the platform is restricted to authorised coaches and administrators only. We use secure, password-protected accounts for all third-party services we operate.

No system is completely secure. If you have concerns about the security of your data, please contact us immediately at hello@buzzmoneycoach.com .

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page will always reflect the most recent version. For significant changes, we will notify active coaching clients by email.
