Buzz Money Coach is a trading style of Buzz Money Ltd, registered in England and Wales. When this policy says "we", "us" or "our", it means Buzz Money Ltd. Contact us at hello@buzzaccounting.co.uk.

Financial Freedom Score (scorecard)

The Financial Freedom Score and the money type tool both run entirely in your web browser. Your answers are never transmitted to us or to anyone else, and no third party is involved in producing your result — the scoring happens on your own device and the answers are gone when you close the page. Your result is stored on your device only, so the two tools can pair with each other. If you choose to enter your email address to receive the written guide, that address is the only thing we receive: not your answers, and not your score.

Financial Health Check and coaching tools

If you sign up for a coaching account, we store the information you enter into the coaching tools: your income and expenditure, balance sheet, fact-find answers, goals, milestones and session notes. This data is held so your coach can review your progress and provide coaching guidance.

Account information

If you create a login, we store your name, email address and an encrypted password (or use a magic link — a one-time sign-in link sent to your email).

Technical data

Our hosting provider (Netlify) may log your IP address and browser type as part of standard server operation. This site runs no advertising tracking. It uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read, gated behind your consent: nothing loads and no cookie is set unless you accept it on the banner, and declining changes nothing about how the site works. The signed-in coaching app at /live/ also uses Google Analytics to measure how the app itself is used. Neither is used for advertising.

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not send bulk marketing emails without your agreement.

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate the platform. All are under contractual obligations to handle your data securely.

• Supabase — cloud database where your coaching data and account information is stored. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Processed in the EU.
• Plannr — CRM platform used by your coach to manage your client file, fact-find and task list. UK-based financial coaching CRM.
• Brevo — email platform. When you ask for a guide, sign up for updates or send us a message through a form on this site, we pass Brevo your email address, your name if you gave one, and anything you wrote in the message, so that it can send you the emails you asked for. It is also told which page you signed up from. Your scorecard answers and your score are never sent to it. French company; data processed in the EU.
• Netlify — website hosting. May log standard access data (IP address, browser type) as part of server operation.

Buzz Money Coach and Buzz Financial Services are trading styles of the same company, Buzz Money Ltd. Moving from coaching to the regulated-advice side is not a transfer of your data to another organisation — the data controller does not change. Your information is only used on that side where it is relevant to work you have asked for.

We do not share your data with anyone else without telling you first.

• Financial Freedom Score and money type answers — never held by us at all, because they never leave your browser. Where you have given us an email address we retain it until you ask us to delete it, or after 2 years of no contact.
• Coaching account data — retained for 6 years from the end of your coaching relationship. This reflects standard practice for financial services records.
• Account login information — retained while your account is active. You can request deletion at any time.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may prevent the quiz and your coaching account from working correctly.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Erasure — ask us to delete your data (subject to any legal retention requirements)
• Portability — receive your data in a portable format
• Restriction — ask us to pause processing your data in certain circumstances
• Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk · 0303 123 1113.

Your coaching data is stored in Supabase with encryption at rest and in transit. Access to client data within the platform is restricted to authorised coaches and administrators only. We use secure, password-protected accounts for all third-party services we operate.

No system is completely secure. If you have concerns about the security of your data, please contact us immediately at hello@buzzaccounting.co.uk.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page will always reflect the most recent version. For significant changes, we will notify active coaching clients by email.
